Dharakoot exists because of the people who make things. Our vendors are the farmers, artisans and collectives behind India's heritage crafts:
- Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and producer companies
- Cooperatives and self-help groups (SHGs)
- Artisan collectives and rural enterprises
- Individual artisans
How we work together
We work directly with producers — no middlemen taking the margin. Commercial terms are agreed per producer, on a commission-based marketplace model or wholesale/resale basis. The aim is simple: keep more value with the maker, and keep provenance transparent for the buyer.
