Dharakoot ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

Contact details: name, email address, phone number.
Order details: shipping and billing addresses, items ordered, order history.
Account details, if you create an account.
Messages you send us (for example, by email or through the contact form).

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card numbers, UPI credentials or bank details.

2. How we use your data

To fulfil and deliver your orders, and to communicate about them.
To respond to your questions and support requests.
To improve the Store and prevent fraud.
To meet legal and tax obligations.

3. Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the Store: with courier partners (to deliver your order), with Razorpay (to process payment), and with Shopify (which hosts the Store). We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

Shopify uses cookies to keep your cart and checkout working and to understand how the Store is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but blocking them may affect checkout.

5. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by emailing dharakoot@gmail.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

6. Retention

We keep order and account data for as long as needed to fulfil orders and meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
