Daali Scot Khandua — a cotton saree in single-ikat Khandua from Nuapatna, Odisha, in grey and red with the Daali Scot pattern. One of warp or weft is tie-dyed before weaving, giving the curvilinear ikat patterns their sharpness.

Orissa Ikat is a registered Geographical Indication. Khandua traces back to the 12th century AD and is woven for Lord Jagannath's temple rituals at Puri. It comes from the single largest handloom cluster in Odisha at Nuapatna — 10,000 weavers, some 6,000 looms.

What you get: One Khandua single-ikat cotton saree. Made in Odisha.

Care: Each piece is handwoven, so colours and minor details may vary slightly. Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent. Dry in shade.
